Myron F. Rudy, 90, of State College, died Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Greenwood Village Nursing Home.
Born May 16, 1934, in Gatesburg, he was the son of the late Samuel A. and Emeline Brumgard Rudy. On June 4, 1955 he married Dolores A. Callahan, who preceded him in death on July 4, 2013.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathryn M. Croyle and her husband Jay of State College; one brother, Ralph Rudy of Rebersburg; one grandson, Michael Rudy; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas; sister, Shirley Harpster; and brother,Herb Rudy.
Myron graduated from State College High School. After his retirement from Penn State working in agriculture, he began auctioneering.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Boalsburg. He was also a member of the Tyrone Elks, PA Deer Association, Nittany Antique Machinery Association, and Penn State Wrestling Club—he was an avid PSU wrestling fan.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College.
Funeral service will be 11 am, Friday, April 11, 2025 at Koch Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Boalsburg Cemetery following the service.
