Nina Rudenko, born September 5, 1963, passed away peacefully at the age of 62. She was a devoted mother, loving sister, grandmother, and dear friend whose kindness and gentle spirit touched many lives.
Nina was the beloved mother of three children: Sergey, Marina, and Yuliya, who were the center of her life and greatest joy. She was also a proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren, whom she loved deeply. Nina was known for her warmth, wisdom, and the quiet strength with which she cared for those around her. Many who knew her spoke of the inner beauty that could be felt simply by being in her presence.
Following what initially appeared to be a successful open heart surgery, Nina experienced unexpected complications and was readmitted to Hershey Medical Center, where doctors worked tirelessly to save her life. Surrounded by the love and prayers of her family, she passed peacefully with her children by her side.
She will be remembered for her kindness, humility, and the lasting love she leaves in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 12:00 PM, at the Salvation Baptist Church, 3645 W. College Avenue, State College, with Pastor Denis Smirnov officiating. Burial services will immediately follow at Pleasant Gap Lutheran Cemetery in Pleasant Gap. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
