Albert C. Schultz, 80, of Bellefonte, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Centre Crest Nursing Center.
Born on October 4, 1929 in Halfmoon Twp., he was a son of the late Conrad and Stella Mae (Rodgers) Schultz.
On February 20, 1954 in Bamburg, Germany, he was married to the former Betty Vogel, who preceded him in death on November 20, 2009.
Mr. Schultz faithfully served our country in the U.S. Army, retiring with over 23 years of service.
He also was employed at Stocker Chevrolet and retired with 20 years of service as an auto mechanic.
Albert enjoyed hunting, gardening, and target practicing.
He is survived by one brother, Frank Schultz (Emma) of State College; many nieces and nephews; a grand-niece, and many grand-nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Gibboney.
Family will receive friends from 7 – 9 PM on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2010, beginning at 11 AM, from the funeral home. Interment will follow at Centre County Memorial Park.
