Allan E. Packer, 72, of Centre Hall died Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at his home.
He was born November 28, 1941, in Bellefonte, a son of the late Ralph and Hazel Lutz Packer.

Allan attended Penns Valley High School and served six years in the U. S. Army Reserves; including active duty at Fort Lewis in Washington.
He owned and operated Allan Packer Concessions since 1968; staying active in the business even during his illness and until just days before his death. He loved spending time with his family especially his granddaughter; riding his four wheeler around town to visit with friends, being part of the Snappy’s Coffee Club and attending Sprint Car races at Port Royal Speedway. He also enjoyed spending winters in Florida.
