Obituary of Alphonsus Boscaino Jr., 76

Alphonsus A. “Cork” Boscaino, Jr. 76, of Bellefonte passed away at his residence on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Cork was born in Bellefonte, July 21, 1940 a son of the late Alphonsus A. and Helen Massaro Boscaino, Sr.

Cork is survived by his daughter, Annmarie Boscaino of Indiana, and his sons, Brian( Karen) Boscaino of Kansas, Christopher(Alice) Hinton of Bellefonte and his daughter Elaine (Hinton) Cline of Bellefonte. He is also survived by his three granddaughters, Taylor Boscaino, Christina Hinton, Skylar Ridenour, his three grandsons, Matthew Cline, Michael Cline and Andrew Cline, and his two great-grandsons, Cameron Paul and Kurtis Paul, also surviving are his two sisters, Bernadette Cadman of Milesburg and JoAnn Coup of Florida. Cork is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who live out of state.

Cork was a retired general laborer in the construction field. Cork was a life- long member of the Bellefonte Undine Fire Co, where he was past trustee and past assistant chief. Cork enjoyed running with the pumping team and attending the Central District Fireman Conventions with whom he was also a member.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two daughters, Nichelle “Nikki” Boscaino Ridenour and Angela Boscaino Crater and two great grand-sons, Milo Cline and Silas Cline.

Family and friends will be received at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg, on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 6 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. Services will be at 7:30 P.M. with Rev. William E. Osman officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
