Ann C. Sieg, 86, of Bellefonte, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Centre Crest Nursing Home surrounded by her family. Born on September 10, 1928, in Rome, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Catherine (Rosenburgh) Sieg.
Ann was the un-official “Greeter” at Centre Crest for 22 years. Ann’s smile touched the lives of all that knew her. She enjoyed painting, music, and knitting. She was a member of the Centre Crest choir and St. John’s Episcopal Church in Bellefonte.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Molly Sieg and her favorite nieces; Cay (Jim) Hoy of Zion, Betsy (Rick) Toner of Beech Creek, her nephew, Bill Sieg (Melissa) of Mingoville and her dearly beloved 14 grandnieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Gracia Sieg and her brother, Bill Sieg.
There will be a public visitation held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am with a funeral service to immediately follow at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte, with Reverend Alex Dyakiw officiating. Burial will follow in Centre County Memorial Park, College Township.
