Anna H. Dudak, 96, of Clarence, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2012 at her residence. Born on April 4, 1915, in Drifting, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lewis S. and Mary S. Zezoney Fenush. On September 2, 1933, she married Joseph J. Dudak, Sr. who passed away on June 19, 1980.
Anna attended the Drifting School. She was a member of the Queen of Archangel Roman Catholic Parish Church in Clarence, PA and was a past member of the St Peter & Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Grassflat, PA.
Anna was a homemaker. She lived in Grassflat, PA for 75 years. She then moved to the York area to live with her daughter, Christine. After 18years, she wanted to return to Center County, so she move in with her daughter, Mary.
Anna enjoyed knitting, crocheting, working puzzle books, playing cards, playing the daily lottery, and playing bingo. She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State football games on TV. She was a member of the First Catholic Ladies Slovak Association.
Anna is survived by; her son, Joseph J. Dudak, Jr, and his wife, Barbara of Grassflat, PA, six daughters, Margaret A. Grzech and her husband, Frank, of Maccomb, MI, Dorothy A. Kazmir of Freehold, NJ, Ann M. Schall of Clarence, PA, Mary A. Drapcho and her husband, Michael of Clarence, PA, Dolores A. Nelson of Bethel, MN, and Christine M. Weaver and her husband, James of York, PA. She is also survived by one sister, Margaret Berkley of Morrisdale, PA, 26 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, Anna was preceded in death by; three sons, John, James, & Paul, one grandson, Steven Drapcho, 10 brothers, John, Adam, Joseph, Andrew, George, Michael, Paul, Steve, Emil, & Corl; and one sister, Mary Gunter.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, February 20, 2012 from 6-8pm with a rosary being said at 8:15pm at the St Peter & Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Grassflat, PA. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 11am at the church with Father David A. Perry, Jr., Celebrant and Father Lubomir J. Strecok, co-Celebrant. Burial will immediately follow at St. Peter & Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Grassflat, PA.
