Brian C. Clarkson, 34, of Bellefonte, died Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville.
Born August 24, 1979, in Williamsport, he was the son of William M. and Deborah J. Hess Clarkson. On February 18, 2006, he married Tina A. Sillman, who survives.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by four children, Audrey Palau of Bluffton, S. C., Carley, Keira and Tanner Clarkson of Bellefonte; one brother, William Clarkson of Williamsport one sister, Christina Himes and her husband, Donald, of Trout Run, and a maternal grandmother, Jean Hess, of Williamsport. He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Samuel Hess and paternal grandparents, Vaughn W. and Lorana M. Clarkson.
Brian was a 1998 graduate of Williamsport High School. He attended Mansfield University.
He was career army, serving as a recruiter in Altoona. He was a devoted father and husband. Brian was involved in coaching his daughter’s t-ball for the last three years and he enjoyed playing in the yard with his children and riding bikes. He had a love for art and was a gifted artist.
Brian regularly attended Coleville Wesleyan Church.
Visitation will be from 12 until 3 p.m., on Saturday, January 25, 2014, at Faith United Methodist Church, 512 Hughes St, Bellefonte. Funeral service will follow at the church with the Pastor Ronald Kilgus officiating. Burial will be in Boalsburg Cemetery.
