Obituary of Carol Gingerich, 61

Carol A. Gingerich, 61, of Bellefonte, died Thursday, May 20, 2010, at her residence. She was born July 28, 1948, in Bellefonte, daughter of the late Carl E. and Elsie Flick Stamm. She was a homemaker and was of the protestant faith. She enjoyed family gatherings, spending time with her children and grandchildren and family outings.

She is survived by her husband Larry D. Gingerich who survives at home, one son, Joseph Laubscher, Jr., of Blanchard; six daughters, Ann Brunner, of Howard, Karen Reed, of Milesburg, Kathy Wolfe, of Julian, Bobbi Jo Moses, of Villa Rica, Ga. Nonnie L. Brown of Ranburne, Al. and Wendi Gingerich, of Bellefonte, and a stepdaughter, Celeste Heaton, of Lock Haven; two brothers, Robert Stamm, of Philipsburg and Eddy Stamm, of Jersey Shore; four sisters, Genevie Rearick, of Jersey Shore, Janet Weaver, of Texas, Shirley Dowling, of Jersey Shore and Linda Confer, of Jersey Shore; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Stamm and Carl Stamm and three sisters, Helen Hoover, Phyllis Stamm and Patricia Baker; and a granddaughter, Michaella Wolfe.

Friends will be received at, Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg, Saturday, May 22, 2010, 9-10:30 a.m. Services will follow at the funeral home, Saturday, May 22, 2010, 10:30 a.m., with Rev.
