Carol A. Schindler, 73, of Bellefonte passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Susque View in Lock Haven. She was born on May 24, 1941 a daughter of the late George A. and Mary Ford Bush.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arther W. Schindler.
Carol served her country in the Marine Corps. She was a homemaker and she loved to read.
She is survived by three daughters, Kimberly A.(Ron) Rash of Mill Hal, Malissa A. Austin-Cordell (Daniel Mena) of Truth or Consequences, NM and Heather M. Schindler of Bellefonte. Also surviving are her brother, George Bush of Montana and three sisters, Dora Teaman of Lancaster, Andria Anderson of Clayton, GA and Karen Palmer of Bellefonte. She was also blessed and survived by five grandchildren; R. David (Amanda) Rash, Ryan (Megan) Rash, Leighann Rash Simco and her significant other, Nate Toner, Hope Cordell-Herring(Ryan) and Jennifer Barndt. Also surviving are her six great grandchildren, Shawndra Simco, Xavier Simco, Raini Rash, Tessa Rash, Carson Herring, Nathaniel Toner. Carol is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Along with Carol's parents and husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Britt R. Schindler Barndt, her grandson, Samuel Barndt and her sister, Joan Stem.
Family and friends will be received at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg, Pa on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.
