Obituary of Chad Benner, 36

Chad R.H. Benner, 36 of Centre County passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015, in Boggs Twp. He was born on January 6, 1979, in State College. He was the son of Sharon (Hockenberry) Yarnell who survives and the late Clarence “Shorty” Benner.

Chad attended the State College Area School District and was employed as a truck driver. He had a passion for horsepower and moving wheels, and enjoyed working on cars/trucks as he worked on may projects over the years. Most of all, he loved his motorcycle and would ride at any opportunity that presented itself. Chad was a member of the Bellefonte V.F.W. Post 1600 and the Bellefonte Moose Lodge #206. He will always be remembered as a caring man who loved to laugh and have fun with all those around, definitely one of a kind.

He is survived by parents Sharon (Tom) Yarnell of Milesburg; one brother Corey Robinson and fiance Danielle Lidgett of State College. He is also survived by a close friend and companion Kelly Billett of Milesburg; maternal grandmother Bella Hockenberry of Bellefonte; and paternal grandmother Madeline Yarnell of Bellefonte. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a large network of friends, including his “brothers”.

He will be greatly missed, but his memories will be cherished forever. Until we meet you again, rest easy and ride on.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, from 6 PM-8PM at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg, PA. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
