Obituary of Charles Martin Beard Jr.

Charles Martin Beard Jr (Chuck) August 30, 1964 – July 8 2012, of Spring Mills PA, beloved brother, soul mate, mentor, uncle and friend, was called home to the Lord's House Sunday July 8, 2012. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and was the son of the late Charles Sr, and Cherry Ann (Addleman) Beard. He was a carpenter by trade and like the Master was generous with his skills and love to all in need and although he has been called home to build in the Lord's House, he will be sorely missed by those whose lives he has touched. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Sr, his mother Cherry Ann, his sister Nancy and his brother Arthur. He is survived by his soul mate Gloria McCambridge and her three daughters, Ashley, Brittany, and Brandy and grandson Ryan; two brothers, Thomas Beard and wife Mia, Jeffrey Joseph and his wife Kathina; two sisters, Anna Beard and Cheryl Beard and sister-in-law Wendy Taylor; seven nephews, Nicholas, Hans, Clyde (Eddie), Danny, Arthur Jay, Jonathan Byrne, Michael; five nieces, Jenny Beaty Kent, Chrissy Gibbs, Cherry, Linda and Amber; and lifelong friends, Tim Giffin, Gene Moyer, John Hawkins (Hawk) and Mike Glasgow( Bear); and scores of extended family members and friends. Friends will be received from 2 – 4p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2012, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service P. C. 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall. A celebration of life will follow at Chuck and Gloria's home, 203 Upper Georges Valley Road.
