Claire A. LaRoza, 79 of Beech Creek, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011 at Susque-View Nursing Home in Lock Haven. She was born on October 6, 1931 in Passaic, N.J. the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Goller Meyer.
She married Frank A. LaRoza on October 20, 1949 in Elkton, Md., he survives at home.
Claire was a homemaker. She attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lock Haven. She also attended the Howard VFW with her husband and enjoyed sewing, reading, cooking, and gardening.
Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter; Kathy M. Hye; three sons; Frank C., Richard M. and Stephen M., nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main Street, Howard. Burial will be in the Schencks Cemetery in Howard. There will be a public visitation Friday, April 29, 2011 at the funeral home from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
