Eleanor L. Struble, 80, of Pleasant Gap, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on March 12, 1934, in Woodycrest, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Irene (Dean) Emigh. She married Norman W. Struble, who survives at home.
Eleanor attended State College Area School and was a homemaker. She enjoyed family trips to Wildwood NJ and her day bus trips to Atlantic City with her sister. She was an avid Pittsburgh professional sports fan and Penn State sports fan.
Along with her husband, she is survived by three sons; Robert and his wife Cyndi Struble of Milesburg, Stephen and his wife Joy Struble of Centre Hall, David and his wife Joannie Struble of Wingate, one sister, Katherine Perryman of Pleasant Gap, along with 9 grandchildren; Brittany, Candi, Dustin, Stephanie, Ashley, David Jr., Nichole, Chad, Brandon and 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Tina Struble and one brother Ralph Emigh.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 11, 2014, from 6-8 pm, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring St., Bellefonte PA 16823, with a memorial service at 8 pm, with Rev. Jeremiah Montgomery. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
