Jacob E. Reese Jr., 71, of Warriors Mark, and a guest at Colonial Courtyard was called home to be with his Heavenly Family on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010 at 6:35 p.m. at the Courtyard.
He was born April 3, 1939 in Philipsburg, the son of Jacob E. Reese Sr. and Winifred M. Gross-Reese. He is survived by two sons, Steven L., of Julian and Matthew B., of State College, and a daughter, Cathy Y. Reese of Mt. Airy, Md. He was preceded in death by a son, Aaron.
Mr. Reese graduated from State College High School in 1957 and enlisted in the Air Force. He was honorably discharged in June 1961. Upon discharge from the military, he was employed as a graphic artist with HRB-Singer from which he retired in 1992. He enjoyed walking in the woods, hunting and building houses.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at 7 p.m. at the Bald Eagle Baptist Church, 6644 South Eagle Valley Road, Julian, PA 16844 with Pastor Dave Spaugh officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Condolences may be sent to the family at P.O. Box 415, Lemont, PA 16851.
