Jean attended the Cooper High School. She was a homemaker for most of her life. She was always involved in sports and community concerns. Jean was a life long avid bowler and captain of her bowling team. She was the secretary of the Mt. Top Mixed Bowling league, former Vice President of the Women's Auxiliary of the Clarence American Legion, Post 813, past secretary of the Snow Shoe Twp. Water Authority, a member of the board to consolidate and form the new Mt. Top Municipal Water Authority, past member of the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church Choir in Snow Shoe.

Jean enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband, taking bus trips with the Senior Citizens, traveling to Atlantic City, Las Vegas, and most recently to Salamanca.
She was an inspiration to everyone who knew her and will be dearly missed by all the lives she touched during this earthly journey. She loved her family, friends, church, sports, community and pets. She was always laughing and having a good time. She enjoyed life's gifts to the fullest. Jean was an extremely devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Although feeling the loss of her presence here on earth, her family as well as her friends, can find comfort and solace with the knowledge she is the newest flower in God's garden.
