Joseph E. Chencharick, 79, passed away Monday, May 5th, 2014 at his residence. He was born March 23, 1935, to the late Andrew and Susie Chencharick in Ramey, Pa. Joseph graduated from Clearfield High School and served served in the US Army. He married his wife the former Loretta Kyler,who preceded him in death, March 5, 2008. Joseph enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Lutheran Faith.
He is survived by his sons: Dennis J. (Melody) Chencharick and Jack M Chencharick both of rural Julian; daughter Penny J. Chencharick of New Braunfels, TX; sister: Vivian (David) Glass of Goshan; grandchildren: Heather (Ryan) Johnson of Port Matilda, Dustin Chencharick of Julian, and Toby Chencharick of Julian; and great grandchild, Taylor Chencharick of Port Matilda.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Beulah Cemetery, Ramey, Pa with Pastor Solomon Shaffer officiating.
Family and Friends will be received at The Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg, Pa on Friday, May 9, 2014 from 6 8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Pets Come First, 2451 General Potter Highway. Centre Hall, Pa. 16828.
