Obituary of Joseph Giambattista , 87

Joseph Giambattista, 87, of State College, died on Sunday at The Villages at Penn State.

He leaves his daughters, JoAnne Falcone, of Fayetteville, Donna Kempf, of State College; and his brother, Dominic Giambattista, of Liverpool. He also leaves his legacy in his five grandchildren, Todd Falcone, of Liverpool, Heather Figueroa of Pennsylvania, Kim Falcone Sousa, of Boston, Ivy Kempf, of Philadelphia, and Holly Kempf, of London, England. Additionally, his great grandchildren, Thomas and Alex Falcone, TJ Ward, Zach Figueroa, Farrah and Taylor Sousa, and many close friends at The Villages.

Born in Italy, he lived his life in Syracuse and his retirement led him to Boca Raton, Florida with most recent years in State College. In his early years, Joe founded and built ACE Electric, a well-known electrical contracting company. He not only took pride in his business, but he had a passion for life and especially for his family.

A calling hour will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 12 p.m. at Eaton-Tubbs-Schepp Funeral Home, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville, N.Y.
