Leon E. Trumbauer, 72 of Beech Creek, passed away at his home on Monday, June 1, 2015. He was born in Coopersburg, Pa. on March 27, 1943 the son of the late Albert & Thelma Moyer Luksa.
He married Patricia Lea Schwenk who survives at home.
Leon was a self-employed residential roofing and siding contractor for many years.
He was a Christian.
He was a member of the Beech Creek American Legion and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army 1962-1966.
Leon was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and maintaining his home on Beech Creek Mountain.
He is survived by eight sons; Keith Trumbauer of Dayton, Ohio, Travis & Timmy Trumbauer both of Allentown, Robert Wellington of Beech Creek, Dean, Keith, and Jimmy Wellington all of Allentown and Jody Wellington of Walnut Port, two daughters; Brenda Trumbauer and Brenda Wellington both of Allentown, two sisters; Deborah Luksa of Germansville, and Catherine Trumbauer, and many many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the families convenience.
