Linda Lou (Fishburn) Flory, 65, of State College, died Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Center Crest in Bellefonte.
She was born November 9, 1947, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Robert and Jennie Swinehart Fishburn.
Linda worked at Wanda’s Diner in Lewistown for several years, and later worked for several years at the Toftrees Apartment complex as a housekeeper.
Some of the things she enjoyed most were playing bingo, going to casinos and to the beach, and doing hand crafts.
Surviving Linda are three daughters, Teena Fishburn of Harrisburg, Jennie (Kathy) Schenck and her husband Todd of Beech Creek, and Melody Flory of Thompsontown; four grandchildren, Jason Fishburn, Virginia Goss, and Carly and Erica Schenck; one great grandson, Trip Fishburn; one sister, Donna Spaid and her husband Fred of Douglasville; and one brother, Dale Fishburn of Danville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Gregg, and several brothers and sisters.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, October 18, 2013, beginning at 2:00 PM at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 1034 Benner Pike, State College with Reverend Rick Wilson officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at Centre County Memorial Park.
