Lois L. Ayers, 83, of rural Bellefonte passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at her residence. Born November 8, 1929 in Taylor, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Everson and Margaret Major Rolls. She married Harry Lucas, who preceded her in death. Lois was a homemaker. She was a member of the Jersey Shore Area Assembly of God in Antes Fort, Pa. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed reading, collecting porcelain dolls, crafting and yard sales. Lois is survived by two daughters; Sharon Ayres of Lawnside, New Jersey and Duana Gummo of Clifton Heights; two sons, Jeffrey C. Hollenback of Wingate and David J. Hollenback. Also surviving Lois are her twelve grandchildren; Lisa Powell, Tanya Ghezzi, Ronni Gummo, Nathan Gill, Todd Gummo, Brandy McCloskey, Misty McCloskey, Jamie Kitner, Ginger Beard, Jennifer Hoover, Robert Ayres, Jr. and Shawn Florey. She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Grubb, a grandson, Jason Hollenback and a sister, Beverly Baker. Services will be held at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 12 noon with Pastor Rick Jones of Jersey Shore Area Assembly of God Church officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. until 12 noon at the time of the services. Burial will be in Meyer Cemetery, Benner Twp., Centre Co. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg, Pa.
