Nancy R. Warefield, 75, of Bellefonte, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on June 21, 1939, in Osceola Mills, PA, she was the daughter of the late Nancy May Philips. She was a Philipsburg Area High School graduate and worked in the Janitorial Department at Penn State University. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Warefield in 2003.
Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her children; Justine Aukerman of Woodbury, Russell Warefield, Jr. of Pleasant Gap, Richard “John” Warefield of Bellefonte, Patrick Warefield of Alexandria and Aaron Warefield of Bellefonte. Also surviving are two sisters; Gayle Shimmel of York, Lois Philips of Philipsburg and seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Services will be private.
