Olive M. Adams, 100, of Northern Cambria died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Hastings.
Born October 15, 1914 in Altoona, PA she was a daughter of the late William Albert and Jessie Rachel (Carles) Harber.
On April 18, 1933 she married Harold Adams who preceded her in death on January 24, 1968.
She was a member of the Grace Brethren Church in Altoona. She enjoyed playing bingo, the lottery and traveling (when her eyesight allowed). She loved to sing, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. She was gracious, loving, and kind – truly an angel. She would do anything for anybody, always wanting to give.
Olive is survived by her five children, Dorothy Westrick of Hastings, Roger L. Adams of Wayland, NY, Gale Most (Michael), Hope Hicks (William) both of Northern Cambria and Betty Gibson of Mt. Morris, NY; 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Alfretta Bohn, Virginia Hatch, Robert and Pauline Farnell and Madeline Watkins; a daughter-in-law Barbara Fletcher Adams, a son-in-law, James Westrick and two grandchildren, Timothy Paul Westrick and Michelle Kirsch.
All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
