Phyllis M. Bressler, 93, of Centre Hall, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Wynwood House in Centre Hall.

She was born July 16, 1920, in Coburn, a daughter of the late Stanley J. and Dorothea Weaver Fielder.

On January 1, 1944 she married George P. Bressler, who preceded her in death on February 18, 2014.

Phyllis was a 1939 graduate of East Penns Valley High School.

Most of her life she was a homemaker but earlier in life worked at Sylvania Electric in Mill Hall, the Millheim Hosiery Mill and at the Mifflinburg Silk Mill.

She was member of St Luke Lutheran Church in Centre Hall where she served with the Altar Guild, and often assisted with funeral dinners. Mrs. Bressler also served as a Den Mother for Cub Scout Pack 20.

Among the things she loved most; were being a devoted homemaker, raising birds, and working with flowers, and attending Grange Fair.

Surviving Mrs. Bressler are two sons, Rodney Lee Bressler and his wife Marjorie and Jeffrey Lynn Bressler and his wife Tina all of Centre Hall; three grandchildren, Darin Bressler and his wife Kara, Bradley Bressler and is wife Amy, and Ryan Bressler and his wife Allison; six great grandchildren, Madison, Jared, Abigail, Gannon, Brennen and Jensen; two sisters, Jean Sampsell of Bellefonte and Eileen Royer of Mifflinburg; and one brother Kenneth Fielder of Bellefonte.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Donnley and Maxine Boyer.

Friends will be received from 9 to 10 am Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 301 N. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, PA. The funeral service will follow immediately at 10 am at the church; with the Reverend Scott Klimke officiating. Burial will be in the Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery, West Church St., Centre Hall, PA
