Polly D. Snavely, 53, of Milesburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Polly was born on March 17, 1964, in Bellefonte, the daughter of Donald Hinton, of Milesburg and the late Lois Johnson Hinton. On September 30, 1995, she married Kenneth P. Snavely who survives at home.
Also surviving is her step-daughter, Misty R. Stover, of Beech Creek; and her brother, Curt Hinton, of rural Bellefonte.
Polly was a legal secretary for different attorneys. She was a member of Brookside Wesleyan Church, Milesburg Lions Club, Milesburg C.H. & L. Fire Company. She enjoyed knitting, reading and camping. She was a loving, caring friend to all in her community.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, June 30, 2017, from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 Noon at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017, at 12:00 Noon, at The Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg with Pastor Robert “Bo” King and Pastor Mike Fisher officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
