Randal E. Grubb Sr., 63, of rural Bellefonte, died Friday, May 7, 2010, in Spring Township.
Born April 19, 1947, in Bellefonte, he was a son of the late Melvin W. and Margaret M. Hull Grubb. On Dec. 24, 1978, he married the former Carolyn C. Wagner, who survives at home.
Mr. Grubb was a truck driver of Ingram Fuels. He attended Bellefonte Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Randal E. (Amy) Grubb Jr., of Burnham, and Robert L. Grubb, of Arnold, Md.; a stepson, Spencer R. Holderman, of Bellefonte; a brother, James A. (Karen) Grubb, of Bellefonte; a sister, Susan J. (Donald) Barton, of Bellefonte; and four grandchildren, Kelsey Grubb, Tyler Grubb, Jorn Elliott and Malley Grubb. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Grubb; and a sister, Barbara A. Hartle.
Friends will be received from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2010, at Bellefonte Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 342 Myrtle St., Bellefonte. Funeral services will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday, at Kingdom Hall, with speaker Donald Smeltzer officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
