Robert (Bob) H. Coble, Sr., 78, of Bellefonte, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Juniper Village in State College. Born on November 25, 1938, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late John and Sally (Kucas) Coble. He is survived by his wife Nellie (Stover) Coble who resides in Bellefonte.

He was a graduate of Bellefonte Area High School and worked most of his life as an Electrician for IBEW Local Union 606 in Orlando, Florida. Bob took great pride in his Union membership and believed the Unions always looked out for the little guy.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Kim Kemper of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Natalie Morrice who is lucky enough to live in Hawaii. He is also survived by his son, Bob Coble, Jr. of Dallas, Texas and two step-sons, Chuck McCloskey of Milesburg, Pennsylvania and Mike McCloskey of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Family was the most important piece of Bob's life and his surviving brothers and sisters – Bill Coble, Barbara Patner, Kay Meleshenko, Becky Holter and John Coble will always remember their loving brother who was never too busy when there was something they needed. Bob also took great pride in his grandchildren with five grandsons – John Aaron Kemper, Max Morrice, Jackson Morrice, Nathan Morrice, Jake Coble and Dexter Coble. Bob was also very proud of his beautiful granddaughter, Constance Kemper.

In addition to grandchildren, Bob loved his many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other family members that were an important piece of his life.

Bob's laughter was infectious and his love of pranks is legendary. We will all miss the stories he told, even if we are never going to be sure whether they were true. 'You aren't going to believe this' was one of his favorite tag lines.

Friends will be received on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 9:30 am until 11:30 am at Wetzler Funeral Services, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am at the funeral home with Rev. David Dimmick officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
