Robert L. "Rob" Brungard, 46, of Mill Hall, died Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Williamsport Hospital.

Born Jan. 23, 1964, in Lock Haven, he was a son of the former Margaret A. "Peg" Sanders and Harvey L. Brungard, of Mill Hall. He was a 1982 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School. He was a loader and dragline operator and laborer at Hanson Sand and Gravel Quarry, Montoursville. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Rote; Nittany Valley Fire Company, Lamar; Mill Hall Fire Company; Castanea Fire Company Social Club; Social Club in Loganton; Sons of Italy, former Porter Township Supervisor; Woolrich Harley Club; and a member of the East End Camp. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by a son, Christopher R. "Chris" Brungard, of Mill Hall; brother, Michael L. (Melanie) Brungard, of Julian; sister, Pamela L. Kautz, of Rote; nieces and nephews, Erica L. Weaver, Brian M. Miller, Heather M. Rider, Cody J. Walker, Michele L. Miller, Courtney A. Brungard, Devin O. Lezier, Joshua J. Patrick, Jeremy J. Patrick, Carter Rider, Logan Rider; the Apple of His Eye, great nephew, Ethan E. Weaver; and maternal grandmother, Velma Pelkey, of Lock Haven.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 17, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main Street, Mill Hall with Rev. P. Franklin Hartzel, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 16, 2010, from 6-9 p.m. with memorial service by Nittany Valley Fire Company at 8:45 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.
