Robin L. Dzvonyicsak (née Smeal), age 58, of Bellefonte, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Mount Nittany Medical Center.

She was born August 23, 1960 in Portsmouth, VA, to William Ronald Smeal and the late Judy Ann Kephart Smeal.

For many years Robin was a dedicated and an industrious District Manager for Space Mart Development Company, personally overseeing properties in New Jersey, Virginia and Pennsylvania.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and never missed any of their school events or activities. For leisure she very much enjoyed theater, film and the arts. Additionally, Robin was deeply passionate concerning the rights of animals.

Beloved mother of Kristen Dzvonyicsak and Jessica Corl, wife of Sean Corl, and cherished grandmother to Olivia, Ava and John, Robin is additionally survived by her maternal grandmother Charlotte Kephart, Chester Hill, PA, step mother Arlene Surdick Smeal, State College, PA, and siblings Susan Lucas, Bellefonte, PA, Paulette Woodard, wife of Tony Woodard, Raleigh, NC, and William Clifford Smeal, husband of Christine Arbulu-Smeal, Brooklyn, NY, and cherished aunt to Cody, Brooks, Tessa, and Emily.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation which will be held at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, on Thursday, February 7, 2019 between the hours of 6 pm to 8 pm. A memorial service, officiated by Reverend Jeff Lauer, will be held at the Morrisdale United Methodist Church, Route 53, Morrisdale, PA 16858, on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 11:00 am. Interment in Summit Hill Cemetery, Wallaceton, PA, will be private and at the convenience of the family.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Mt. Nittany Hospital, especially those in the Oncology Department for the dedication and care that they gave to Robin.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Cancer Care Partnership (please put “Rock for a Cure” in the memo) and Pets Come First.
