Obituary of Shirley Loesch, 84

Shirley L. Loesch, 84, of State College died June 24, 2014 at Centre Crest in Bellefonte.
Born May 9, 1930 in State College, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur C.”Spike” and Margaret (Mitchell) Tressler.

On December 31, 1947, she married Elmer L. Loesch who survives in State College.
She attended State College Area High School, and enjoyed her grandchildren, flowers, her cats and watching TV.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Peggy G. (Charles) Zentner of Venice, FL and Donna “Kay” Loesch of State College; two brothers Donald J.(Marcile Fisher) Tressler and Robert (Jean Robinson) Tressler and three grandsons, David (Pamela Fasick) Zentner, Michael Zentner (Courtney Young) and Joshua (Jessica Smith) Zentner; and two great grandchildren, Joshua Thomas and Julia Marie Zentner.

Visitation will be Friday, June 27, 2014 from 12:30-1:30 PM at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801. A funeral service will follow a 1:30 PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Susan Williamson officiating. Interment in Houserville Cemetery will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Shirley’s name may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 33 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
