Tamara Takarchek Reese, 47, of Pennsylvania Furnace, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016, at home.
Born November 15, 1968, in Wilkinsburg, she was the daughter of Peter and Joanne Hrivnak Takarchek. On September 24, 1994, Tammy married Walter J. Reese, Jr., who survives at home.
In addition to her husband, Tammy is survived by two children, Lillian Reese and Winston Reese, both of Pennsylvania Furnace; and her mother Joanne Hrivnak Takarchek of Bellefonte, PA.
Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Peter Takarchek.
Visitation will be 2:00 until 4:00p.m. and 6:00 until 8:00p.m., Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, September 16, 2016 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College, with Jackie Hook officiating. The family will also receive friends and family one hour prior to the service, from 10 a.m. until 11a.m., on Friday, at the funeral home.
Interment will be private.
