Tammy Jo Gates, 42, of Bellefonte, died Monday, June 2, 2014, at her residence.
Born January 6, 1972, in Bellefonte, Tammy is the daughter of Russell L. and Ellen S. “Mitzie” Davis Gates. She was a graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. Tammy worked in the Laundry Department at Penn State University. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shooting pool and loved her cats. She was a member of Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Bellefonte.
She is survived by one daughter, Erika D. Kinley, of Bellefonte; two sons, George T. Emel III of Centre Hall and Bradley M. McCloskey, of Mill Hall; one brother, Steven D. Davis, of Manheim; two sisters, Penny L. Gates and Tina M. Gates, her twin sister, both of Bellefonte. She is also survived by her companion, Mike Rogus of Bellefonte. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg, on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at 7:30 p.m. with Father Neil Dadey officiating.
