Richard was a was a faithful servant of the Lord and a true family man. He remained a faithful member and attendant of the St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in State College for many years. He was a kind, loving, outgoing, honest man that embodied the true definition of a “good human being.” Socializing came naturally to him, especially at the Grange Fair which he loved to attend each year with his family. He loved to smile and carried himself with strength and determination each day until his last. He carried many titles in his lifetime, Private First Class, Son, Brother, Uncle, Husband, Dad, and his favorite title, Pappy. His legacy will live on in those that loved him.
