Robert “John” Greene

Robert John Greene, 68, of Milesburg passed away at his residence on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. John was born in Cuba, NY on July 14, 1952 the son of the late Edith Smith. He is survived by his children, Robert John Greene, Jr., Jillian Faye Greene, Lindsay Robak all of Bolivar, NY; Cherese (Cody) Ripka of Lock Haven, Bryce Greene, Bryan Greene, Wyatt Glover and Garret Greene all of Milesburg. He is also survived by his sisters, Charlotte Darling of Bolivar, NY, Catherine Strawcutter of Wellsville, NY, his brother, Clifford Greene of Bolivar, NY, his seven grandchildren and one great grandchild and also many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Bradley D. Greene, his brother, Richard Greene and his nephew, Michael Darling.

John was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and playing pool. He loved all sports and coached the PA Teener League Champs. He especially enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends. He was the Grounds Crew Supervisor at Toftrees Golf Course.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the Brookside Wesleyan Church, 403 Bush Hollow Road, Julian from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Michael Fisher officiating. We will be following CDC recommendations, facial coverings and social distancing will be required.
