Ronald J. Weaver, 82, of Bellefonte, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 4, 2025. Born on March 7, 1943, in State College, he was the son of the late John A. and Dorothy M. (Meyer) Weaver. He married the former Noreen Clarke on May 24, 1969. They were blessed with 56 years of marriage.

Ron graduated from State College High School in 1961. He then served as an electrician in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1966, during the Vietnam War. He worked at the former Cerro Copper and Brass for several years followed by employment with the Pennsylvania State University until his retirement in 2005. He was well respected by his peers and coworkers at Cerro and PSU. 

Ron was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bellefonte. He was a kind, quiet, and loving man that loved spending time with his family. He was an avid runner and often ran races alongside his brother and his daughter for many years. He was a hard-working man, enjoyed working around the home outdoors, and spending time with his wife. 

Along with his wife, Noreen, Ron is survived by his son, Jereme Weaver; his daughter, Megan (Mark) Collins; his grandchildren, Alex Weaver, Caroline Collins, Andrew Weaver, Allison Weaver, Lawrence Collins, Judson Collins, Emma Collins, Luke Collins, and Abigail Collins; a great granddaughter, Blakely Weaver. He is also survived by his siblings, Dean (Mary Lou) Weaver and Barbara Lippincott and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Weaver, and his sister, Lavonne Struble.

Ron will be laid to rest privately at the Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery in Centre Hall with Military Honors accorded.

Friends and family will be received on January 17, 2026, from 10am to 11am at the First Baptist Church of Bellefonte. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 11am with Pastor Mark Collins officiating.
