Vivian June Cross, 95 formerly of Howard Pa, passed away on Tuesday, November 7th 2023 at the Haven Skilled Rehabilitation and Nursing Home where she had been a resident since 2018.
She was born in Howard, Pa to the late John and Beluah (Bland) Davy on October 21st, 1928.
Vivian was a member of the Beeck Creek American Legion and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a devoted housewife and grandmother. She enjoyed concerts at Triangle Park, playing bingo, music, writing short stories of the local area and traveling around the country with her grandkids.
The family would like to thank Haven Skilled Rehabilitation and Nursing Home for their wonderful care over the last few years.
She is survived by a sister, Delores Confer; grandson, John ( Gina) Cross, granddaughter, Chandra (Richard) Gee; 2 grandsons, Ben(Stephanie) Cross and Eric Cross; 8 great grandchildren, Holly, Belinda Morgret, Richard S and Sophia Gee, Dezzaree, Zachariah, Emily and Kelby, 12 great great grandchildren, Shey, Lyonah, Noah, Kaylyn, Kyir, Brandon, Ryder, Issac, Jackson, Tatum, Kayson, Aaliyah and Samiyah.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 sons, William C. Cross III, and William C. Cross Jr. III; a brother, Fred Davy; 3 sisters, Thelma Heverly, Lois Elane and Madeline May and a grandson Asher.
A funeral service for Vivian J. Cross will take place at Gedon Funeral Homes & Cremation Services LLC, 320 Main St. Mill Hall, Pa 17751 on Thursday, November 9th 2023 at 12PM with Pastor Kerry Aucker officiating. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home 2 hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Vivians’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 9378, 2595 Interstate Dr suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110
