Penn State wrestling’s 2022-23 slate will feature seven home dual meets, including two at the Bryce Jordan Center, according to the official schedule released by the program on Tuesday.
The Nittany Lions’ season will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov.11, against Lock Haven in Rec Hall. The team will then travel to West Point for the Black Knight Open on Nov. 20 before a road trip to Rider on Friday, Dec. 2 and Lehigh on Sunday, Dec. 4.
Penn State will return home to host Oregon State at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11, then will head to New Orleans to compete in the Collegiate Wrestling Duals Dec. 19-20. The full schedule for the 12-team tournament is still to be announced.
The Big Ten slate begins after the New Year when the Nittany Lions go to Wisconsin for a dual at 9 p.m. on Jan. 6. After a weekend off, Penn State will return home for a three-dual homestand that will include for the first time two matchups at the Bryce Jordan Center.
The Nittany Lions will host Michigan at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20 in the BJC then take on Michigan State at 1 p.m. on Sunday Jan. 22 in Rec Hall. Penn State goes back to the Jordan Center on Friday, Jan. 27 for an 8:30 p.m. showdown with Iowa.

- Penn State @ Rutgers — Friday, Feb. 10
- Maryland @ Penn State — Sunday, Feb. 12
The Nittany Lions will then face Clarion to round out their regular-season schedule at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb.19 in Rec Hall.
Postseason action will begin with the Big Ten Championships March 4-5 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Last year, the Nittany Lions lost the team title by 5.5 points, but Roman Bravo-Young, Nick Lee, Carter Starocci and Max Dean all took home individual conference championships.
Finally, Penn State will travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma, for the NCAA Championships from March 16 to 18. The team will be defending its national title as it took home first place in 2022 with 131.5 points, as well as five individual championships from Bravo-Young, Lee, Starocci, Dean and Aaron Brooks.
