State police at Rockview are investigating a reported armed robbery that occurred Saturday night at a Bellefonte-area motel.
At about 11:45 p.m. at Econo Lodge, 3482 Benner Pike, a man brandishing a black and silver semi-automatic handgun allegedly demanded the victim give him his belongings, according to a state police news release. After taking the belongings, the suspect then fled on foot, police wrote.
The suspect is described as white, approximately 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds.
