STATE COLLEGE — Local artist Jeanne Black McKinney will display her original paintings from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 4, at The Expect More Store, 114 S. Allen St., State College.
Cheeses, wine and beer will be provided during the exhibit.
McKinney was born in Buffalo, N.Y., and graduated from Penn State with a degree in art. Her work reflects her interest in and appreciation of the natural world, as she paints landscapes and organic still life portraits.
McKinney’s professional affiliations include juried associate member of the Pastel Society of America, associate member of American Women Artists and signature membership of the Central Pennsylvania Pastel Society. She also has memberships in the Art Alliance of Central Pennsylvania, the Art Association of Harrisburg, Art in Common of Centre County, the Artist Registry of the Bellefonte Museum for Centre County, the Pastel Society of New Hampshire, the Degas Pastel Society and the International Association of Pastel Societies.
The Expect More Store is located at 114 S. Allen St., State College.
