A State College-area credit union is getting ready to begin construction on a new location in College Township.
Arize Federal Credit Union is building a two-floor, 11,280-square-foot building at 1145 Benner Pike. The property is currently a vacant lot near the intersection with Ellis Drive.
Construction of the solar-powered building, which will replace Arize Federal Credit Union’s 1601 E. College Ave. office, is expected to begin in the coming months and be completed in 2024, according to a news release.
“The decision to establish a new location aligns with Arize Federal Credit Union’s long term growth strategy, driven by its dedication to providing exceptional member experiences and fostering strong community relationships,” the news release stated. “The state-of-the-art facility will be designed to offer an innovative and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall banking experience.”
Arize Federal Credit Union, which was founded in 1978 as SPE Federal Credit Union, also has locations at 650 Science Park Road in Ferguson Township and 9902 Shaner Boulevard in Huntingdon.
