A new indoor golf complex is coming to the Centre Region.
The Golf Loft has signed a lease for 12,500 square feet of space in The Plaza at Aspen State College, 250 Squirrel Drive in College Township, Kandy Weader of Bennett Williams, the commercial real estate agent for the property, wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
The first commercial tenant of the mixed-use student housing complex near East College Avenue, it is expected to open in early 2026, according to the company’s social media accounts.
It will be The Golf Loft’s second location, joining its facility in Hanover, York County, which opened in 2023.
The State College location will have 10 Trackman golf simulator bays and a PuttView putting green simulator, as well as Dartsee interactive dartboard lanes and a retail store selling premium golf brands, according to a post on The Golf Loft’s Facebook page.
It will also include a full bar and kitchen “serving craft cocktails and signature bites,” and a 7,000-square-foot outdoor dining patio with views of Beaver Stadium.
The Golf Loft rents bays accommodating up to eight people each on a per-hour basis for one to four hours, according to its website. The business offers walk-in rentals, reservations and memberships. It can also host events such as birthday, bachelor and holiday parties or corporate event.
Golfers can bring their own clubs or rent premium clubs on-site. The business also provides Titleist prov1 RCT golf balls specially designed for Trackman.
