A State College-based company has landed a spot on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States.
DojoNetworks is No. 2408 on the business media company’s annual list, which ranks independent businesses by three-year percentage revenue growth and “provides a data-driven snapshot of the country’s most resilient and dynamic privately held companies,” according to Inc.
With three-year revenue growth of over 176%, this marks DojoNetworks’ first time on the list.
Founded and headquartered in State College, DojoNetworks has grown from a local startup to a national provider of managed WiFi services for multi-tenant housing communities (MDUs), including student housing, senior living communities, affordable housing and conventional apartment complexes.
“Earning a spot on the Inc. 5000 is a tremendous honor for the entire DojoNetworks team,” Dan Myers, DojoNetworks’ founder and president said. “The achievement is a direct reflection of our team’s dedication to our clients and our commitment to innovating in the managed WiFi space. Our focus on unmatched service has resulted in 100% MDU customer retention over the past 25 years.
“As MDUs and their residents increasingly rely on robust and secure connectivity, our growth shows the market’s demand for a partner that provides not just an excellent service, but a true competitive advantage. We’re incredibly proud of this milestone and excited to continue helping our customers master their network infrastructure and deliver a great service to their residents.”
(Editor’s note: Dan Myers is the owner of StateCollege.com)
Founded by Myers and CTO Michael Caldwell, both Penn State graduates DojoNetworks began by serving the connectivity needs of off-campus students in State College. It has since grown into a national leader in enterprise-grade WiFi and networking solutions to deliver secure and seamless connectivity experiences.
“This recognition from Inc. celebrates the company’s journey and its continued support from and commitment to the Centre Region,” Myers said.
The company’s networks are highly monitored, easily upgradeable and supported 24 hours a day, utilizing Elemento, a proprietary management software developed over 12 years.
Its ManagedWiFi+ service integrates advanced security protocols, real-time network analytics and user experience enhancements into a single, comprehensive platform to ensure property owners and managers can provide their residents with a high-performance connection, while gaining actionable insight from a fully managed network.

Honorees on this year’s Inc. 5000 list have demonstrated exceptional growth while navigating economic uncertainty, inflationary pressure and a fluctuating labor market, according to Inc.
Revenue growth was measured from 2021 to 2024, requiring a minimum of $100,000 in the first year and $2 million in the third.
“Making the Inc. 5000 is always a remarkable achievement, but earning a spot this year speaks volumes about a company’s tenacity and clarity of vision,” Mike Hofman, editor-in-chief of Inc., said. “These businesses have thrived amid rising costs, shifting global dynamics, and constant change. They didn’t just weather the storm—they grew through it, and their stories are a powerful reminder that the entrepreneurial spirit is the engine of the U.S. economy.”
This year’s honorees will be celebrated at the 2025 Inc. 5000 Conference & Gala in October in Phoenix.
