A new survey will help the State College Redevelopment Authority’s efforts to assist borough businesses in recovering from the financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The survey will examine the overall state of the local business environment and identify the short- and long-term strategies that best meet the needs of local businesses,” according to a statement from the borough.
Representatives for businesses within the borough are asked to fill out the survey here, indicating what unmet needs they have and whether they’d be interested in receiving public assistance.
The survey closes on 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 1.
Since last summer, the Redevelopment Authority has offered multiple rounds of relief microloans up to $20,000 at 0% interest for businesses located within the borough boundaries that experienced revenue loss during the pandemic.
The authority is continuing to explore opportunities for long-term business support.
