Original story:
A downtown State College food truck festival scheduled for this weekend has been postponed because of forecasted rain.
The Food Truck Rally in the Valley benefiting Housing Transitions, which was originally set for Sunday, has been rescheduled for May 21, according to a post on the Housing Transitions Facebook page. AccuWeather forecasts rain throughout the day becoming heavy at times on Sunday in State College.
The rescheduled event will take place from noon to 3 p.m. as originally planned and in the same location on the 200 block of South Allen Street.
As planned, the Food Truck Rally in the Valley on May 21 will feature multiple food trucks, along with activities, live music by acoustic rock duo Hops & Vines and raffles.
Sales from raffle tickets and a portion of sales from food trucks will benefit Housing Transitions, a State College-based nonprofit organizations that provides housing programs for individuals and families facing homelessness and housing insecurity throughout Centre County.
The vendor lineup for the event included Bees Knees Coffee, Bonnie Blue’s Smokeys & Sweets, Brazilian Munchies, Crumbkowski, Idou Coffee, Real Taste 570, Rebelz Mobile Cuisine, Savory Station, Sips and Giggles and Sunset Slush.
