A downtown State College food truck festival scheduled for this weekend has been moved to August.
Housing Transitions’ Food Truck Rally in the Valley is now set for noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 27, on the 200 block of South Allen Street, according to a post on the nonprofit organization’s Facebook page.
Originally scheduled for April 30, the festival was first postponed to May 21 because of heavy rain before being moved to Aug. 27. The new date will fall during a busier time in State College, following the first week of classes for Penn State’s fall semester.
The Food Truck Rally in the Valley will feature multiple food trucks, along with activities, live music by acoustic rock duo Hops & Vines and raffles.
Sales from raffle tickets and a portion of sales from food trucks will benefit Housing Transitions, a State College-based organization that provides housing programs for individuals and families facing homelessness and housing insecurity throughout Centre County.
