The Community Diversity Group and the Borough of State College will host the fifth Multicultural Unity Fair from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, at the State College Municipal Building, 243 S. Allen St., State College.
“The Borough of State College looks forward to this collaboration with the Community Diversity Group to host an event that brings so much awareness to the rich cultures, traditions and identities that make up the State College community,” Borough Manager Tom Fountaine said in a news release. “This event is one of the many ways that the community continues to show that all are welcome here.”
The family-friendly event celebrating the local community’s diversity will include live performances, cultural displays and international cuisine available for purchase.

“This is a once-a-year opportunity to celebrate and enjoy the natural talents of children, students, and adults from many different backgrounds and cultures within our community and to learn about their unique and beautiful arts,” Community Diversity Group President Carol Eicher said in the release. “Organizations that showcase and support the multi-facets of what makes the State College Region the wonderful place it is to live, work, and play, will be available to share information, answer questions, provide giveaways and demonstrate aspects of the cultures they represent.”
