Pennsylvania will play a pivotal role in deciding whether Republican Donald Trump or Democrat Kamala Harris is the next president of the United States.
Both candidates have poured millions of dollars into their campaigns in the Keystone State and made frequent visits this fall in an effort to earn the commonwealth’s 19 electoral votes. Trump won the state in 2016, while Joe Biden was victorious here in 2020 by a margin of 80,000 votes out of more than 6.9 million cast.
Check here for live results in Pennsylvania and nationwide on Tuesday night and into Wednesday from the Associated Press, which has been tracking votes and calling races for more than 170 years. The Associated Press doesn’t make projections and will declare a winner only when it has determined there is no scenario that would allow the trailing candidates to close the gap.
