Comedian Bill Burr Returning to Bryce Jordan Center

Comedian Bill Burr is returning to Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center for a performance in October, the venue announced on Monday.

Burr, who previously performed at the Jordan Center in 2021, will take the stage for a 7:30 p.m. show on Wednesday, Oct. 4.

Tickets, starting at $49, go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday online. Discounted tickets for Penn State University Park and Altoona campus students are $24 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

In addition to his success as a stand-up comedian, Burr is also known for his acting roles and as a podcaster.

He has starred in the Disney+ series “The Mandalorian,” and the 2020 film “The King of Staten Island,” had notable recurring appearances on “Breaking Bad,” and created and starred in the Netflix animated series “F Is for Family.” He was nominated for an Emmy for best actor in a short form series for the 2021 anthology “Immoral Compass.”

His 2019 stand-up special, “Paper Tiger,” received a Grammy nomination for a Best Comedy Album. His most recent stand-up special, “Live at Red Rocks,” debuted on Netflix in 2022.

Burr also co-founded the All Things Comedy digital media network and cohosts the twice weekly “Monday Morning Podcast.”
