A 3-year-old boy was flown to a hospital after a farming accident on Monday in the Rebersburg area, according to state police at Rockview.
The boy was injured in an incident “involving a horse-drawn planter” at about 5:05 p.m. on the 6600 block of Brush Valley Road in Miles Township, police wrote in a public information report on Tuesday.
EMS and fire personnel cared for the boy until a Life Flight helicopter arrived and transported him to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. The nature and extent of his injuries were not disclosed.
Miles Township and Millheim Fire Companies and Penns Valley and Mount Nittany EMS were dispatched to the scene.
State police are continuing to investigate the case.
