The Berkey Creamery will be closed during winter break and the beginning of the spring semester to accommodate major renovations.

Beginning Dec. 23, the renovations are expected to be finished by mid-February.

The Creamery, which celebrated its 150th birthday this year, hopes to improve product availability, efficiency, and to make shopping in-store a more enjoyable experience.

“For 150 years, creating smiles on the faces of everyone who visits here has been our priority,” assistant manager Jim Brown said.

“It’s our goal to continue that tradition for the next 150 years,” he added. “We appreciate our customers’ patience and want them to know they can still contact us during regular office hours while renovations are being completed.”

While the storefront is closed, you’ll still be able to order ice cream, cheese, and other product’s on the Creamery’s website.

Ice cream will still be available in the dining halls and at local businesses that serve Creamery products. You can view a full list of places that sell Creamery ice cream here.
